I have a BMW F650GS with a stock seat. To say it is a pain in the ass is as literal as I can get. I often do 300- to 400-mile days; it was simply an unpleasant experience for my rear. A buddy of mine told me about the AirHawk. While the price seemed a bit high, it was significantly cheaper than a new custom seat, so I gave it a shot. I’ve since done an1,800-mile trip in a few days with no pain in my rear. The trick is to run as little air in it as possible. While it clearly says this in the directions, you’d think they really wouldn’t mean so little air. That’s exactly the key though—you want to run very little air in it… your butt will thank you.
