Although the Selection Chart recommended the Small model for my Suzuki VStrom DL1000, the engineer in me prompted me to carefully measure my seat and compare measurements of both the Small and Medium model against the dimensions of my seat. I feel I made a great decision to buy the Medium model for what turned out to be an absolutely perfect fit, not to mention that the shape of the Medium model simply looks great in the seat pocket of the VStrom! I really could not be happier with this addition to my bike. I had recently added the Suzuki Gel-Seat ($180), but even this did little to alleviate a serious pain I was experiencing after only 30-40 miles of riding. I just don't seem to have enough natural padding where required. With my new AirHhawk I am now ready to go back to the half and all-day rides (150-400 miles) that I used to enjoy so much in my younger days. Already, my typical rides are 80-200 miles. It was excrutiating to do these longer rides before the AirHawk. Now, I hardly think about my comfort at all, and, in fact, I am rather enjoying the massaging action I feel as shifting around slightly causes air to move from one chamber to the other. My friends are equally intriqued, and I now wish I could send the Gel-Seat back to Suzuki for a refund. I am glad I made the command decision not to let price stand in the way of my comfort; this is a quality product that has far exceeded my expectations! My only suggestion to ROHO is to add short straps and wide padded hooks that would allow the cushion to be attached without need to remove the seat and run the straps completely around it. After 2 years of riding in sheer agony, I finally gave in and purchased the Medium cruiser cushion for my 2007 Dyna Low Rider. I cant tell you what a total difference it's made for me. Like others have said, after 40-50 miles, I either hand to lift my rear up off the seat, or totally stop and get off the bike to stop the pain, and get the feeling back in my upper legs...but then I knew I'd be in pain and numbness would creep back once I started riding again. With this cushion in place, I just completed a 175 mile afternoon ride with NO PAIN or NUMBNESS, no seat squirming..... no nothing but finally enjoying riding!!! I'm truly amazed and overjoyed with this cushion. You MUST follow the instructions on proper inflation. It took a couple rides to find what the right amount of air inflation was for my weight, but that was very easy. You Don't have to renmove the seat to do it either. I was worried about it staying in place....but my concerns quickly vanished. It has a gripper pad on the bottom along with adjustable straps. This baby stays put. It also seems to keep your seat area cool on those hot summer rides. BTW, I also used it over the winter in my favorite easy chair for extra comfort when not in use on my bike. L. Wos Michigan
